Project
Boasting a traditional character inspired by the grand homes of the New Orleans Garden District, St. Johns Forest is a gated community of 545 homesites. The 442-acre development is surrounded by Sampson Creek and forested preserve. Among its many local, regional and national awards, it won the Grand Aurora Award for best community amenities, landscaping and pool design. The unique community identity begins with a sense of arrival, accented by a threshold archway entry and continuing through motifs of brick, iron and cast stone. Ervin Lovett & Miller’s work included the design of the residents’ club facilities, including clubhouse, pool with water slide, interactive water features, tot lot, multi-use playing field and tennis courts.
