Ervin Lovett & Miller provided comprehensive planning, architectural and landscap-architectural design services for the Town Center Park.
Project
With a projected completion date of 2008, Nocatee Town Center Park will be the recreational centerpiece and primary civic space for Nocatee Community, the largest planned community in Northeast Florida. The 84-acre park will eventually serve more than 20,000 residents and will include a regional YMCA, public elementary school, regional park, athletic fields and major aquatic amenities. The aquatic park alone will cover more than 24,000-square-feet of water area and will include a competition junior-olympic pool, social pool, private adult pool, sprayground, water slide and spaces for social gatherings. Designed around a signature central fountain, the facility will be inspired by traditional building forms and elements.
